Collab - Flying High

So, I recently got to meet one of my best friends, *CatbeeCache, in person briefly since she was passing directly through my town during a move n.n Another one of my best friends, ~ledastudios, was also there since she was spending the week here with me. Anywho, Deebs gave us both sketchpads, and this was drawn on the first page X3 It's my self-insert, Midnight the Bat, from the roleplay group I belong to. I love it so much. Her design is slightly altered here, but I actually like aspects of it much better than her current design. I might incorporate bits of it. Like those shoes. I love those shoes.

When I came home I decided to scan and color it. I did a quasi-speedpaint on it (trying to get over my nitpicky ways is difficult) to try practicing a more comic book style of coloring. Didn't finish it as quick as I would have liked, but oh well, just means I need to do more speedpaints. I'm fairly happy with how the coloring turned out in any case. Coulda been better, but I need to learn to stop sweating all the little details no one else notices @_@;
