Legend of the WillowThe wind was the freest of all the spirits, and the most mischievous as well. It played and whistled and danced merrily wherever it pleased. Once, it fell in love with a maiden named Willow. She was young and beautiful, and in her the wind found a kindred spirit, for she was as free as it.

The wind was entranced by Willow. It would coo softly in her ear, dance with her and play with her long flowing hair. Indeed. The wind loved Willow.

As a writer, my characters are as real to me as any other living person. They were born from my mind, and I have nurtured them, watched them grow, and they have a startling way of surprising me with information about themselves I was never aware of, or doing and saying things I never expected. I am their mother and they are my children.

Original characters. Fan characters. Even semi-canons. They are all alive to me. I treat them as real people and give them all the same respect any living person deserves.

myeh.

i don't know what they are. they're not my children or brothers or sisters or i don't know. i'm not attached to them. they're on their own. i don't want to talk to them. i don't want to be around them. they're not even my friends. but i wouldn't call them tools.

I created a story about my characters. I wrote it, I drew it. They don't have only a pair a clothes, and I am really proud of them.

Haha reminds me that I talked about my character infront of my best friend today .
And she asked me why I talked about her as she was a real person. and I answered " She is my child "
